There's going to be more COEs in categories A and C, while the supply of COEs for categories B and E will see smaller increases.

It could be time to get that family car you've been eyeing before the holidays swing around: The LTA has announced that a total of 15,834 COEs will be available for bidding for the period from November 2024 to January 2025.

This figure is 4% higher than the total supply of 15,283 COEs that were available in the last quarter. The supply of COEs available in this quarter has increased 6% for Category A, 2% for Category B, and 8% for Category C. The total COE supply for motorcycles in the coming quarter is 3,105, exactly the same as the quarter before. The full numbers are replicated in the table below.

Bidding under the new quota will start on 4 November 2024. The next quota announcement for the bidding period of February 2025 to April 2025 will be made in January 2025.
